Language for Life Speech Pathology Services has been operating in the local area since 2003. The service offers pre-school and school aged children assessment and intervention for speech, language, voice, fluency, phonological awareness and social skills difficulties. The Speech Pathologists at Language for Life strive to work collaboratively with parents, carers, kindergartens, schools, maternal and child health nurses and medical health professionals to ensure that each child achieves their communication potential in the most efficient time possible. We are a child and family centered practice.

At Language for Life, we offer services under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Program (E.P.C.P.), the FaHCSIA program and the "Helping Children with Autism" (H.C.W.A.) Program. This allows some families to access services at reduced costs when deemed eligible by their referring General Practitioner or Pediatrician. We also have HICAPS on site which allows families with Private Health Insurance to make claims on the spot if they are covered for speech pathology services.
