The Melbourne Bladder Clinic treats both men and women with a wide array of bladder problems ranging from incontinence to overactive bladder to bladder cancer. As a urologist, Dr Gani treats patients with urinary tract stones and cancers as well as men?s sexual and prostate problems. Dr Gani is also uniquely trained to treat the whole range of bladder problems in both men and women, in which he is skilled in providing all the treatment options from minimally invasive ones to major surgery. He is one of only a handful of urologists in Australia to be trained in sacral neuromodulation. His special interests include:

Incontinence in men and women

Overactive bladder treatments including Botox bladder injection and sacral neuromodulation

Neurogenic bladders (patients with Parkinson's, strokes, diabetes, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis who have bladder problems)

Men with urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction after prostate surgery.

Dr Gani is active in research and has published in international journals. He has presented in local, national and international meetings. He is involved in teaching medical students as well as educating the public and raising awareness on issues like incontinence and prostate health. He has also contributed in developing GP (general practitioner) education modules with the RACGP.
