Active Pest Management: Ballina

About

Active Pest Management are your No.1 pest control & termite specialists in Northern Rivers, locally owned and family-operated since 2010.

Before we were Active Pest Management, we each worked for other pest control operators for several years.

Jim was widely known as 'The Bug Man'. He gained this reputation because of his encyclopaedic knowledge of bug behaviour - of their biology, life cycles and their detectable activity in peoples' homes.

Tony worked in general pest control before he began specialising in pre-construction termite prevention, consulting one-on-one with local builders on new constructions and renovations.

Once we encountered each other in the industry, we agreed there was a gap in the market we could capably fill with our own pest control company – a company that:

makes the highest priority of personalised service – customers get to know us by face and name, year after year;

uses 'environmentally smart' products that capitalise on pest behaviour and biology rather than high toxicity;

is known and respected for being a hands-on operation i.e. the guys in the ads are the ones that show up at your door; AND

provides expert one-on-one consultancy for builders on pre-construction termite management systems and fully accredited installation.

Within 12 months, we initiated that vision in a new business partnership. Active Pest Management has now been in operation since 2010 and continues to grow.

Our customers can rest assured we are professionally qualified, fully licensed and insured pest control technicians with more than two decades of industry experience.

In 2013, our hard work was recognised when we became proud recipients of the Ballina & Hinterland Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Excellence Award.
