Termidor chemical is used to treat the soil around a building or other timber structures. The resulting soil barrier aims to eradicate termites that attempt to gain access to the building. Effectiveness noted on APVMA regd pesticide label is 8 years. Termidor cannot be detected by tunnelling subterranean termites; it has a delayed lethal effect; is readily transferred back to the termite colony; and is a proven highly effective at eradication of entire termite colonies.
