There are two main factors which lead to deterioration and damage of the leather upholstery - usual use and the frequent treatment with unsuitable cleaning ways and means on a regular basis. Aging and general wear and tear are not reversible; however they could provide the leather a real fancy authentic look. However, usual treatment with inappropriate chemical agents onto the hide is likely to render it brittle, cracking, and peeling.
