John Hart Automation & Robotics (JHA&R) is a separate division of the parent company, which specialises in the application of proven technology to deliver specialised automation solutions to customers' requirements. Starting in the early 1980?s as an extension of our machine tool operations, JHA&R has been customising and implementing productivity improvements to machines and robots imported for over 30 years, plus special purpose machine solutions. Today we are able to provide a full range of products and support all under the one roof, from concept, through design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, training and service. We utilise the latest solids modeling CAD, CAM and simulation software for all projects.

JHA&R also supply overseas markets through related companies and subsidiaries. JHA&R is the Australian agent for Fanuc Ltd. Japan, for material handling and spot welding robots, vision systems and other ancillary products. Fanuc is based in Japan and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial robots, with an extensive range of robots, backed by a massive R&D and development program and a production capacity of over 18,000 robots per year.
