"The Saltie" as we call it in Australia, is the biggest and the most ferocious of all crocodilian species, they can grow more than 6m in length; they are one of the hardest and most dangerous animals to hunt or harvest in these harsh conditions. A true apex predator, crocodiles are opportunistic hunters and extremely dangerous - unlike the Alligators - their behaviour is very different, with crocs being much more aggressive than gators and any other species in the crocodilian world.

Crocodile Mick's is one of only a few Safari Operators that offer Crocodile Harvesting, we are licensed to hunt and harvest saltwater crocodiles in Northern Territory. This licence is to harvest and hunt greater than 2m crocodiles. We usually target the males that cause problems, and the females are released to breed and keep the population in balance. While it is prohibited for our guests to shoot the crocodile, as safari hunting crocodiles in Australia is not permitted. We are offering our guests an opportunity to share this experience and encounter some of the Largest Saltwater Crocodiles. You can observe us hunting and harvesting these large saltwater crocodiles for an experience of a lifetime. Our Guests can purchase the crocodiles in the form of a live animal, a skin mount, full mount or any other leather product for an additional fee.
