Kentin Engineering is a family owned engineering business based in Perth, Western Australia. Originally formed by Ken Austin in South Africa in 1986, Kentin Engineering was incorporated in Perth in 1999. The company offers a wide range of metal engineering services, including:

Kentin Engineering uses CAD/CAM software teamed with two 4 axis CNC milling machines to offer economical production of small batches of original or pattern-copied parts.

Electronic Discharge Milling (EDM) gives the ability to machine small, geometrically intricate parts.

• Hydraulic Repair & Manufacturing

Kentin serves the Western Australian mining industry’s need for hydraulic repair and refurbishment.

• Fabrication & Boiler-making

Kentin Engineering fabricates steam boilers and pressure vessels to stringent Australian standards.

• Model Steam Train Manufacture

Ken Austin has been involved in several model steam train construction projects, and makes parts for locomotives and traction engines for gauges between 7 ¼ inches and 15 inches.
