Altro Transformers

About

Since 1982, Altro Transformers has specialised in the design and manufacture of low voltage and custom transformers and various types of enclosures. Over the years, our capabilities have extended and our range includes:

1 Control Transformers

2 3 Phase Isolation Transformers

3 Voltage Optimisation Transformers (commercial, industrial & domestic)

4 DC Power Supplies

5 DC Rectification Units

6 Reactors/ Chokes/ Inductors

7 Metal Fabrication of Enclosures (indoor, outdoor, switchboard and transformer cubicles)

Our voltage optimisation (VO) transformers assist power hungry sites by controlling the energy consumption. It creates a reduction in site voltage input to suit the exact requirements of the site, resulting in improved power quality and immediate reduction in power consumption/ electricity bills and carbon emissions. Since not all commercial / industrial sites have the same energy requirements, we coordinate site audits in order to determine the required energy levels over a dedicated period. Our VO transformers are engineered, designed and manufactured to suit site specific requirements with installation and post install review. The domestic line of PIVO voltage optimisation transformers are configured to a standard setting to accommodate all homes throughout Australia.

All our products are manufactured to relevant Australian and International Electrical Safety Standards and are supplied with a high quality finish.
