Lexastar Pty Ltd originally traded as Tasweld Engineering and has provided the Darling Downs and Southern Queensland with General and Precision Engineering services for nearly 30 years.

During that time it has amassed an extensive knowledge of Manufacturing procedures using the latest CNC lathe and CNC milling equipment as well as 4 axis computer controlled machining. With the more recent expansion of the Energy sector in this area, Tasweld Engineering has become a major supplier of CNC, Precision and Heavy Machining services to the local Power Stations. This service has extended to overhauling and modifying the large gearboxes used in driving the overland coal conveyors and the large condenser fans used in the cooling towers.

During the last 10 years Tasweld Engineering has developed expertise in modifying four wheel drive tractors for Controlled Traffic Farming, sending components throughout Australia and to America and New Zealand.
