The Evolution range is a series of modular online inkjet printers for production lines and manufacturing. A basic set includes a modular inkjet printhead, adjustable mounting bracketry, product detection sensor and handheld controller for programming a message (like a use-by date, batch/lot code, text, logos or barcodes).

They are divided into 2 models, HP (Hewlett-Packard based) and LX (Lexmark based) with ink cartridges ranging from water-based (porous materials like paper, wood/timber, cardboard, fabric) to solvent-based (non-porous materials like plastic, glossy/litho printed cardboard and some metals/glasses).

These inkjet marking machines are designed to be completely modular and expandable - begin with a cheap inkjet printing system (perhaps as a replacement or backup to a continuous inkjet printer) and expand it to include more printheads or more options - all running off a single controller.
