Weatherware began operations in 1946 just after the Second World War, when founder Wally Carlisle became aware of the need for the farming communities in the Western districts of Victoria to be serviced with Manchester and haberdashery.

After a relatively short and successful period of time it also became apparent that there was a need for work and protective clothing - in particular lightweight, durable and comfortable waterproof clothing.

Today Weatherware is Australia's premier supplier of rural work clothing. Through our exclusive network of agents we service some of the far most reaches of Australia, focusing primarily on the agricultural industry. Dairy farmers, graziers, cropping farms, vineyards, piggeries, and market gardeners are outfitted from head to toe, winter or summer on an annual visit, with premium quality clothing developed in conjunction with long standing suppliers.
