Fetch & carry is a one man and a small truck for pickups and delivery. There are no hidden charges, booking fees, nor depot to job cost etc. It is a simple proposition - $25 per 30 minutes or $50 an hour starting from the pickup point and ending at the delivery point. For this you get a truck and a driver.

Fetch & carry saves hiring a vehicle involving the paper work, insurances and costs plus any argument over scratches and dents on its return. For small straight forward jobs, Fetch & carry may be the answer.

I pick up and deliver almost anything that fits in the tray - bulky and awkward purchases, rubbish to the tip (not commercial), small machinery, furniture items and white goods, building material, business to business deliveries, small household or office moves and so on. Save money by having the items ready for pickup on arrival - moved out or broken down.

I drive a one tonne Toyota with a 300 kg tail lifter to help lift heavy items. I have public liability and goods in transit insurance. I supply blankets, tie down straps and ropes and a trolley.

There are no employees. If your job requires more than one man and a trolley, please arrange for someone to help at each end of the job. For instance, one man can't safely lift and carry a double bed or a tall set of drawers.

I work Monday to Saturday 8am - 5pm however will be available Sunday and after hours at no extra charge by booking ahead.

At the moment payment is cash only.
