Queensland Document Destruction Pty Ltd

About

Queensland Document Destruction is a Document Destruction and Paper Recycling Business that has been established for 14 years. We are situated in Banyo in the Northern suburbs and cover both Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

Queensland Document Destruction (QDD) founder Malcolm Ritchie says every tonne of paper saved by a business can save around 13 tree a year.

"We feel strongly about the fact that global resources are depleting and there are only so many trees, so what we do is keep them away from land fill by selling them on to people who can re-use the products as paper, cardboard for cereal boxes for example, or even insulation in ceilings".

"Recycling does two things - one, it's very good for the environment and the other thing is that it creates business opportunities for people and employment. QDD estimates that it saves 90,000 trees per year!"
