About

Ravensworth cattle property is a 14,300-hectare property, 50 kilometres west of Hay, has a history that sprawls several continents and decades.

The current feedlot houses 15,000 cattle.

Ravensworth cattle property also holds one of Australia's largest irrigation licences.

Ravensworth cattle property has a really big water entitlement, it's got magnificent soil and it's really well developed for flood irrigation for cattle, stock and crops.

Once developed with the aspiration of being a world-class beef exporting business, Ravensowrth Cattle Station property is now farmed for cattle, sheep and crops under Ron Harris.

Ronald Harris has been using the land for corn, cotton, wheat and barley cropping over the past decade. However Ravensworth also has an extensive feedlot on-farm, which can handle 15,000 head of cattle, yet Ravensworth Station holds one of the biggest feedlot licences in Australia, with potential to develop feedlot at the cattle property up to 60,000 head.

Ravensowrth Cattle Station includes two fully automated processing sheds, 14 holding pens, an overhead sprinkler system, concrete loading area and a double-decker loading ramp, as well as three of the feedlot holding pens constituting a small animal hospital. Ravensworth Station also held a dairy license. The feedlot could easily be developed at some stage into a large scale dairy with little expense.

Ronald Harris says everything at Ravensworth was built to the highest of standards. Past owners of Ravensworth constructed a two-storey office complex that wouldn't have been out place in Sydney's bustling business district. The office has a 225m2 ground floor as well as a 180m² mezzanine level and veranda, which was used to oversee operations.
