Damolock Dexters

About

Registered Dexter stud for 20 years in Herron, Lake Clifton 35 km south of Mandurah just off the Old Coast Rd. We have all types and all three colours of Dexters and we are bound to have something that suits your needs. We pride ourselves in finding the Dexter for you whether you want a pet or a show animal.

All our Dexters are halter trained to lead and be people friendly as well as easy on fences. Although Dexters are a horned breed we are breeding polled Dexters which means that they are born without horns which saves the job and stress for us and the calves of de-horning. This makes them safer around people and we think makes them better looking too.

A Dexter or two are quite OK on small acreage if you have reasonable pasture or are willing to hand feed during summer. Dexters are a very small breed that makes them very easy to feel comfortable with even if you have no farming background and a dog like curious temperament that makes them adorable.

If you want to turn your pasture into the best beef you have ever had we have a few select animals for purchase to grow up into prime beef at two years old, low fat well marbled beef that is fattened on grass and heart healthy lower in cholesterol, hormone and chemical free.

As a registered stud we offer full support after your purchase with advise on feeding, paperwork, etc even medical advise but they are so incredibly hardy we don't expect you will have any dramas. Come and see us and pat some Dexters and see if there is room in your paddock and heart for This special breed of cattle.
