Chooktopia

About

Using grassroots principals, Chooktopia offers environmental solutions for homes, business, schools and government.

From education programs on backyard chooks, motivational speakers or MCs, fundraisers with worm farms, energy audits and advice to save your home or organisation money, or a great range of eco products and fair trade gifts, Chooktopia is a trusted and reliable store and consultancy that can tailor to your needs.

Currently servicing the Mornington Peninsula, greater Melbourne and beyond, and online services and store are global.* (*restrictions apply to worms and quarantine items such as seeds and raw organics)

After 15 years experience in environmental management (working for others), Chooktopia evolved in 2011 through the process of communicating with and connecting to communities in a more meaningful way during the construction of a recycled chicken paradise to house 6 rescued battery hens.

With a passion for long term and meaningful sustainability, our passions are food security through backyard produce and community gardens, ethical food (genuine free range, organic), education, waste minimisation and recycling (making it fun!), and increasing resilience of individuals and communities through helping reduce dependence on wasteful technologies and developing smarter systems to manage buildings and lifestyles - ultimately saving money and contributing to clean air, water and food.

Our other passion is business and product ethics. We have been researching palm oil for many years and guarantee absolutely no palm oil in any of our products. We also have a strong focus on recycled content and fair trade. So whether you want to know where to find products you can trust because you know someone has done the research for you, or whether you need a consultant to green your tenders or supply chains, Chooktopia has solutions across the procurement spectrum.

At Chooktopia our mission is to empower and inspire. We want to up-skill others to make informed choices, green their lifestyle, and not be dependent on consultants; but if you are ? we are always here for you.

Contact us to tailor our services or products (or both) to your needs.
