About

Building Better Lives is a collaborative statewide initiative led by the Summer Foundation to raise community awareness and capital with the express aim of resolving the issue of young people living in nursing homes.

Building Better Lives� has four specific aims:

� To increase awareness of the need to provide appropriate accommodation for young people with disabilities

� To provide tangible ways for the general public and corporations to engage in the issue

� To raise funds to facilitate the development of alternative accommodation options

� To keep the issue of young people in nursing homes on the political agenda.
