Teresa Gambaro was an accomplished local business woman before entering Parliament. Having previously served as the Member for the division of Petrie, The Hon Teresa Gambaro MP is now the Federal Member for the bustling inner city seat of Brisbane. Ms Gambaro also has portfolio responsibility in the form of the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for International Development Assistance and the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Citizenship and Settlement.

Ms Gambaro works with local groups, church based associations and the non-government sector to promote conditions of sustainable human development in which people are able to enjoy a full range of human rights, fulfill their needs free from poverty, and live in dignity.
