Blue Mountains Food Services can support clients with day-to day food needs with Meals on Wheels, frozen food options and community- based village restaurants. We provide daily delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) Monday to Friday with a choice of either a 2 or 3 course meal. We also provide a frozen food delivery with a choice of more than 70 meals including Asian, Italian, gourmet, snack, mini meals and desserts. There are five village restaurants across the Mountains in Blaxland, Springwood, Lawson, Katoomba and Blackheath for good food and social contact. Once a month, CALD (Older Migrant Social Group) and VIP (Vision Impaired) lunches are held at Lawson. A Healing Through Creativity class occurs weekly at Springwood providing an opportunity for people recovering from mental illness to connect with each other and share food.
