Autism NSW uses Davis Autism Approach methods, that support the autistic individual whilst appreciating their abilities and opinions. Most of the autistic individuals have experienced positive change in a relatively short period of time. The autistic individuals sometimes ask to come back, as they feel it helps so much.

We start with a method to help the autistic person become more self aware. Then use clay models to cover all of life's concepts, so that they can understand any situation. All other autistic treatments, cover one behaviour or situation at a time, but the autistic individual still can not apply that learned knowledge to another situation. The Davis Autism approach method ensures the knowledge is applicable across all situations.
