TSH is also a registered independent school providing exceptional programs for children with hearing loss and speech and language delays. TSH originated with a group of parents who were dedicated to pursuing the best oral education for their profoundly deaf children. The parents decided to start a school of their own. With five students, no premises, little money and experience, they made a commitment to pursue the very best oral education for their children and opened a school in 1967. From these humble beginnings, TSH has grown to become one of Western Australia's premier providers of services and support for children with ear health, hearing, and speech and language concerns.
