Vere Apothecary was founded on the belief that Nature has provided tremendously powerful materia medica herbal, fruit and other plant extracts and an unparalleled ability to heal ourselves. We believe inner and outer health are inextricably linked, with internal imbalances manifesting externally, often through the skin and complexion.

We aim to complement Nature, interfering as little as possible, to help people restore balance, health and vitality through a luxurious range of Botanical Skin and Body Care Products, a Sulphate (SLS) free Hair Range, Biodegradable and Grey water Safe Cleaning Products, Botanical Ointments and Certified Organic Herbal teas. We also offer a carefully selected range of Natural Health Therapies - Therapeutic Facials, Massage, Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine and Nutrition - that work to liberate our natural recuperative powers.

Our products comprise unique formulations of natural ingredients, in natural concentrations and in natural combinations, made from the finest repairing and protective, organic and naturally-derived ingredients from around the world. All products are made to ensure we know what goes into our products and to ensure we retain control over quality.

The clinical nature of our services and our apothecary in Hampton (Melbourne) dictates that our products and health services are effectively prescribed, offering a level of personalised service and a regimen of products and treatments appropriate for each clien's needs. For our products, our service is complemented with a sampling culture that encourages clients to try formulations before purchasing, ensuring expectations of efficacy and compatibility are met.

We use minimal, simple, recyclable packaging and labeling to focus our effort on the quality, freshness and efficacy of the product inside. The amber colour of our packaging is simply to protect our products from Ultra Violet light. As our products are botanical in nature, UV rays can lead to a premature soiling of our products.

What we avoid: Vere Apothecary's luxurious range of Skin, Hair and Body products contains no synthetic fragrances, synthetic preservatives, PEGs, sodium lauryl or laureth sulphates or colouring agents.

Our health services are selected and focused on their ability to observe and diagnose the natural and systemic functioning of the body while offering treatments that serve to facilitate and accelerate the natural recuperative powers of the mind, body and spirit. We avoid an over reliance on synthetic drugs and interventions.

Our superb range of natural, biodegradable and environmentally responsible, household cleaning products use herbal extracts and aromatic essential oils and are free of ingredients that can lead to irritated, cracked and dry skin. We actively avoid phosphates, builders, inorganic additives, benzene sulphonates, animal products, skin irritants, colouring agents, synthetic fragrances and other ingredients that harm our health, waterways and environment.

Our unique Philosopher's range of certified organic herbal tea blends use the finest herbs organically grown in Australia, hand harvested at the optimum time, naturally shade dried and carefully hand processed.

Our range of botanical ointments contains no petroleum derived ingredients.

None of our products contains animal ingredients, nor have any been tested on animals.
