Homestead Boarding & Training Kennels & Cattery

About

Homestead Kennels has been run by Rod and Margaret Maruff since 1977. We have a long proven history of providing high quality care for the pets staying with us and we have received many awards for our pet care services and our customer service. Our business has been built on retaining our customers with a large number of new customers using Homestead Kennels because of referrals from existing clients and Vets. Many of our original customers still board their pets at Homestead, many on their second or third pet, and now their children are boarding their pets at Homestead too!

Homestead Kennels is located in beautiful Wonga Park away from the pollution of the city. All our pens are sheltered from the heat, rain, wind & cold, but our exercise yards allow our pets run around in the fresh air.

We provide Boarding services for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats & birds. Our Gold, Silver and Bronze packages provide our customers with the best service for their pet and their budget. We also have other services for your pets. Our Boarding & Training program is perfect for basic obedience, specific behavioural problems and difficult dogs. Our pet Grooming is available by appointment or during your pets stay. Our Pet Taxi service is great option for transporting your pet to and from Homestead outside of business hours.

At Homestead Kennels we provide your pets with a home away from home. Our staff are qualified and trained to appropriate handle and care for your pets. We access to vets on call and local vets in the area if you pet required urgent veterinary attention. We provide your pets with a healthy diet, and can cater for specific dietary and medicinal requirements.

Homestead Kennels is home to Yarrawon Black Russian Terriers. These beautiful gentle giants have won many awards Australia-wide.

Our business hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Sunday.

We are closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
