A Wedding Ceremony is the ultimate expression of your enduring love. It's the beginning of a journey that should take you a lifetime to travel. Marriage has it's ups and downs; all relationships do, but if each day is welcomed with the same love you felt for each other on your wedding day, your journey will be a long and happy affair. Wedding ceremonies are priced from $250 to $450 including my non refundable booking fee of $150

Children are blessings in our lives. Every couple dreams of the day they will become parents. Having a child completes the family unit and in celebration of the child's birth many of today's modern couples, choose to have a Naming Ceremony at home, instead of a Christening in a church. In a Naming Ceremony the child is formally named and welcomed into their circle of family and friends. Price: from $300 (Includes booking fee)

Commitment Ceremonies follow the same format as a Wedding Ceremony. Most of the same vows can be used but without the legal components added.

Many couples who don't want the legalities of marriage but still want to express their deep love and commitment to their life partner will do so in a commitment ceremony.

Same sex couples usually choose a commitment ceremony in celebration of their love and deep commitment to each other, as sadly, it is not yet legal to marry in Queensland. Priced from $350

Many couples choose to mark a milestone Wedding Anniversary or Commitment Anniversary by Renewing their Vows. This is a reaffirmation of their deepest loving commitment to each other expressed in a ceremony to mark the occasion. The message in a renewal of vows ceremony says "I still love you and I'm happy to continue spending my life with you". Priced from $350

Rituals are very popular in ceremonies and I am happy to include them. Some of the rituals available are: Memory Candle (a salute to Ancestors) Couple light a candle to honour the memory of deceased loved ones and to welcome their spirit to the ceremony; The Unity Candle; Sand Ceremony; Rose Ceremony; The Warming of the Rings; Handfasting Ceremony; The Hand Ceremony, Sacred Circle, Wine and Love letters and more.

The legal marrying age in Australia is 18 years; the number of persons required to make a marriage legal is 5 (the couple, two witnesses aged 18 or over and a Marriage Celebrant) The minimum amount of notice of intent to marry required is one month.

Persons wishing to marry must provide a full original birth certificate, evidence of divorce if previously married, evidence of death of a deceased previous spouse if it applies. Those born outside of Australia are required to provide the same documents already mentioned or a current overseas Passport & Commonwealth Statutory Declaration giving the required information. Photo ID is required (current Driver's license or passport) I am required to see all of your original documents but also request copies of these documents for my files. These copies will be destroyed after your marriage has been registered with Births Deaths and Marriages. For Bride's surname change on driver's license, bank accounts etc I can provide the application form for you to complete and then include it on your behalf with the rest of the documents when registering your marriage.
