A Walk in the Park

About

Established in 2011, A Walk in the Park is a family owned and operated business and is dedicated to providing affordable and reliable pet care services. As mature and responsible adults, as well as a desire to help others, we are confident in delivering a caring and professional service.

Are you going on holiday, spending long hours at work, or simply can't leave the house? Allow us to take care of your pets at home for you. At A Walk in the Park, we understand that you can't always provide the special care your pet needs.

We offer a safe, secure, and affordable alternative to boarding kennels or relying on friends or neighbours.

Our services include:

*Private dog walking

*Exclusive pet play dates

*Pet feeding (at your home)

*Pet taxi service

*Mail collection and plant watering

*Security checks around your home

*Luxury pet holiday retreat (our home)

Our carers have extensive experience in caring for companion animals including birds, cats, chickens, dogs, and fish.

For your peace of mind we are insured for public liability, police checked, pet first aid trained, and a member of Australia's Pet Industry Association (PIAA).

A Walk in the Park holds affiliations with and donates income to local charities including Animals Australia, Animal Liberation Queensland (ALQ), Budgie Snuggler, and The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).

Our clients range from busy professionals, to regular travellers and holiday makers, to the elderly and immobile members of our community.
