Essential Groove

About

Essential Groove, Melbourne's elite cover band. Specialising in wedding, function & corporate entertainment. We aim to give you non stop music, yes 45 mins straight, that makes you dance the night away. No more waiting on the dance floor for the band to decide what to play next.

Our style is, essentially groove, so we cover top 40 songs, r & b, funk, disco, pop & soul. We play the songs the way the artist performs them live, with more flavour and creativity. We can also cater for acoustic duos, ceremony music, background or dinner jazz music. Because we are all professional musicians and performers we can also do special requests to play your favourite song at your event.

Slick and professional is how we play and perform, right down to the sound and lighting. Our core band is a 4 piece band but we can add more musicians or singers to suit your needs. We take care of everything to make sure you have a memory that will last a lifetime for all the right reasons! Having already performed at some of Melbourne's 5 star Hotels and iconic venues, you know you're guaranteed quality entertainment.

How are we different to every other band - We tailor every performance to your requests. If you don't want to hear Justin Timberlake, no problem. If you want more of Jessie J, no worries. You won't find us charging extra for weddings either. Unlike some other well known bands, all our band members have played together before your event. At the end of the night, if your guests are raving about the great time they had, then we've done our job perfectly.

If your looking for a fresh talented band that can wow the crowds for your wedding, corporate event, private function or birthday party, then book Essential Groove now.
