Our Funeral Services cover all Sydney, Central Coast & Hunter Regions.

Bryan Reid, Founder of Australian Direct Cremations has been helping families for the past 27 years. In 1999, after realising the need for providing funeral services that were more affordable for families without compromising quality, Bryan decided to establish his own funeral home to serve the people of our Region. Prior to this, Bryan had a long and distinguished career as a NSW Ambulance Paramedic and a Palliative Care Nurse. Through his experience in the Ambulance Service and Palliative Care he developed the necessary support skills required to undertake such an important role in honouring your loved ones. Bryan has a unique quality of compassion and understanding of people.

This experience has also helped develop an understanding and sensitivity to the need of diverse cultural and religious groups as well as the protocols that apply to all types of funerals.

After fifteen years as a funeral director, Bryan, believes families deserve a more affordable option than what is provided by other companies without compromising quality, care and personal service.

This is why we offer as an alternative the Direct Cremation

A Direct Cremation can be described basically as a funeral in reverse. Once Australian Direct Cremations are contacted we transfer your loved one to our funeral home. Arrangements are then made for a non-attendance Cremation Funeral to take place. When available we return their ashes to you, at which time you are free to arrange a personal memorial service or scattering service with special meaning to your family and friends. Below we have listed what is included in our costs.
