Funeral and Pastoral Services

About

As a Pastoral Carer and Funeral Celebrant, I have supported important grief networks in our local region, as well as strong and respectful family relationships. This leads to providing various opportunities for families to participate in the Celebration of Life for their loved ones, including their family history, culture and beliefs.

Attention to the finest detail, special personal requirements, power-point data projection, music selection, order of service programs and the support of the funeral director and crematorium or burial service, ensure that this special day is honoured, whether it be traditional, gay, RSL or other suggested speciality or memorial.

As a professional musician, I am available to perform as bugler or in a jazz band with other musicians available. As a volunteer, I provide logistics support to the NSW Disaster Recovery Chaplaincy Network and had been actively involved with a 2014 Victorian bushfire emergency evacuation centre in NSW.

As a Member of the professional institute of Funeral Celebrants Association of Australia, I will always uphold the very high standards of the FCAA Code of Practice, maintaining respect, dignity and professional conduct in the performance of my duties.

When requested to conduct a funeral service, we meet with the family at their house or other venue. At times, we provide grief support through our pastoral care network; respect the privacy and confidentially of all parties; meet the families need and ensure accuracy to detail is uppermost. If our funeral celebrant agrees to perform more than one service on the same day, we ensure that all parties receive the level of service that meets their particular needs.

Funeral and Pastoral Services provide voluntary logistics support to the NSW Disaster Recovery Chaplaincy Network and had been actively involved with the Victorian Fires Emergency Evacuation Centre at Delegate NSW during February 2014.
