Maurice Meade was the first hairdresser to introduce the now-common 'wash, cut and blow-dry' service to Western Australia in the 1970's. Hair was traditionally cut dry in salons, however Maurice believed that to achieve a high quality cut, the hair must be wet. Thus, the standard service that hairdressers around the state offer today was born.
