About

Helen Tuck is a professional, qualified, Sydney based makeup effects artist.

Coming from a fine arts background, her love of a live canvas saw her decide to shift into makeup and makeup effects and pursue a career in the film and television industry.

After receiving her Diploma of Makeup Artistry, she has started work on more specialised courses in prosthetics, life casting and 3D character effects.

Helen is available for any freelance work in film, television, special effects, fashion and photography.

Hourly Rate - $85*

Half Day Rate (5 hours) - $250 - $350*

Day Rate (10 hours) - $450 - $600*

Currently completing. Life casting, character design, character sculpting and moulding, prosthetics and makeup application.

Certificate in Fabrication and Application of Bald Caps - Final Checks Makeup Academy

Workshop taught by Emmy award winner Thomas Surprenant (X-Men: The Last Stand, Donnie Darko, The Grinch, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Buffy the Vampire Slayer etc), including the fabrication of spray latex bald caps, their application and makeup.

Certificate in Prosthetic Transfers and FX Teeth - Final Checks Makeup Academy
