McGregor & McGregor is one of the oldest continuing private practices based in Newcastle. The practice was commenced in Newcastle in 1928.

Over its long and successful history the firm has continued to build a very strong client base in the Newcastle/Hunter area, Western NSW, interstate and in overseas locations. We believe that the reason for not only attracting clients but maintaining current clients is that partners are always available to clients so that their needs are met as a priority.

The partners� philosophy is that they and staff need to understand their clients� business needs and aspirations to be able to contribute constructive and effective advice in helping clients achieve their goals. As such we find that the majority of partners and staffs� time is better utilised by visiting clients at their business rather than clients visiting their accountant.

One of our strengths in maintaining strong client support is that we offer each client a partner and support staff that is not constantly changing and therefore the client is not regularly revisiting old information year after year. We can therefore offer a stable and professional association that we believe meets our clients needs.

Our client base encompasses most areas of business including legal, civil engineering, manufacturing, construction, medical and associated professions. Our clients range from Individual tax returns to complex group structures and all legal entities including Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Incorporated and Unincorporated Entities and Superannuation Funds.
