Judy has over 20 years experience working continually as a conveyancer for established legal practices in Sydney except for a brief period working at KPMG in the I.T. and software department to gain some corporate experience.

Judy completed the Conveyancing Diploma at Macquarie University in 1999 and has been licensed as a conveyancer in New South Wales since 2000.

Judy incorporated Conveyancing First Pty Ltd in July 2008. Her aim is to keep the practice small and provide a friendly, personal service during the daunting legal process of selling or purchasing your property.

Over the years many of Judy's clients have become personal friends and she has a good working relationship with many Real Estate Agents, Developers and Associates. (more)

Take instructions
Review contract for sale
Order pest, building, and Strata Reports as required
Request amendments to the contract
Liaise with your lender to ensure that you have loan approval
Advice you on the contract
Advice Stamp Duty liability
Ensure Contract has been agreed by both parties
Have you sign the contract
Make an appointment with the Vendor's Conveyancer or Solicitor to exchange contracts where both contracts are identical, signed and dated the date of exchange
Order all inquiries
Assist in First Home buyers stamp duty exemption (if applicable).
Liaise with your lender to ensure that finance will be available for settlement.
Prepare settlement figures and book in settlement with your lender and the vendor's Conveyancer or Solicitor
Prepare the Transfer and have the contract stamped
Attend settlement
