About

Aditum Legal's lawyers are experienced in immigration matters. They are registered with both The Law Society of New South Wales and the Office of The Migration Agents Registration Authority as migration agents, as required by law.

?Migrating to Australia is a legal process. Not all registered migration agents are lawyers. Your case will be handled by a lawyer who has the skills to interpret and explain to you in plain language the relevant laws and regulations applicable to your situation. We can also explain the relevance of governmental policy and procedure to your case, both of which may not be publicly available.

*Practical advice about whether the requirements for a particular visa might be met will be provided to you in a concise and clear manner. If a visa option is not immediately available, we can provide advice on a strategy relating to a future visa outcome, based on your current circumstances.

*We can deal with the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection on your behalf. Our experience and legal skills ensure also that any written and oral submissions to the relevant Australian authorities in support of an immigration application are well-researched and well-written, so that the best argument possible is put forward for you. Our communications extend to keeping clients updated as to the progress of their matters and being available to answer questions as they arise.

*Our lawyers have successfully represented a broad range of clients in humanitarian (refugee) matters and visas based on partner and other family relationships, professional skills and business reasons such as 457 Employer Sponsored Visa. We are particularly sensitive to the needs of and challenges faced by same-sex couples and people from different cultures. Our clients are based in New South Wales, other areas of Australia and overseas. With email, the telephone and teleconferencing available, distance is not a problem.

*Having personal experience of the migration process means that our immigration lawyers are acutely aware of the need for timely and accurate advice and the issues arising from extended processing times.

Our Lawyers are regulated by the Legal Profession Act 2004 (NSW).

We are able to advise and provide assistance with the following:
