Mathews Family Law is a boutique law firm practising exclusively in family and de facto law. Mathews Family Law has the expertise, experience and judgment necessary to effectively and efficiently assist with your family or de facto law dispute.

Vanessa Mathews is the managing director of Mathews Family Law.

Vanessa is an accredited family law specialist and an accredited family dispute resolution practitioner. She is also trained in collaborative law and mediation.

Vanessa has degrees in commerce, social work and law and her work experience in each of these areas, including more than ten years in family law, provides her with a unique mix of commercial, interpersonal and legal skills not often found in a family law professional. She is known for her 'empathetic' approach towards clients and the partnership, which she forges with them.

Vanessa is experienced in working with clients with complex issues arising from relationship breakdown.

Vanessa enjoys living and working in her local area. She is married with two children: a daughter 18 years of age, and a son 14 years of age.
