Candyss Crosby Gallery. Contemporary Australian landscape paintings inspired by the New South Wales Coast and Bush Lands.

Candyss Crosby was born in California and has been painting professionally for the last 16 years. Candyss has lived outside Australia for many years in Asia and the US and is now based in Sydney. The Candyss Crosby Gallery has recently opened in Balgowlah, near Manly, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Her paintings are typically large, rich, textural oils reflecting the varied landscapes of Australia, from the Central Australian deserts, to the National Parks of NSW, to the magnificent beaches she lives near.

Candyss Crosby is an artist with deep affinity and respect for the landscape and our environment. This passion lends both intensity and emotion to her work, which goes far beyond simple representation. The paintings rarely represent specific locations but seek to convey the mood and spirit of the land and place.

Candyss has exhibited in many galleries and events, both nationally and internationally and her work can be found in both corporate and private collections.
