We specialize in catering for your functions, birthday parties or business meetings. Our Gallery room is available for private hire.

Anne-Marie and Jim ODonohue opened The Mallee Tree Caf and Gallery in 2005. It derives its name from the Mallee Tree, a Eucalypt that was once found in abundance throughout the Western Australian Wheat Belt.

After land clearing in the 1900s many of the Mallee trees and roots were burnt as firewood. The few remaining are sourced by Jim for use in his timber business.

The mallee root is a beautiful timber full of knots and swirls and is particularly suitable for making into coffee tables, clocks and crafts.

The Mallee Tree Caf And Gallery is a Showcase for our stunning hand painted Clocks and crafts and other local Art works.

Several coffee tables are in use in the caf and a unique Karri and York Gum Bar table takes pride of place in our front window.
