What is Japanese style acupuncture? This style of acupuncture differs to other styles because of the thinness of the pin (1/3 thickness of dry needling and Chinese style needles), and the elegant handwork involved in this ancient therapy.

The Practice and Art of Japanese Acupuncture has taken on characteristics that make this therapy different to other styles of acupuncture. These include a strong emphasis on palpation, sensory awareness of Ki arrival, root and branch approaches to the treatment and the use of direct moxa in its different forms. There are many styles of acupuncture practiced in Japan. Out of these many styles, there are three major styles Traditional Japanese Acupuncture & Moxibustion (which includes Meridian Flow Therapy), Modern Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion (Which uses biomedical diagnosis to determine point selection and treatment), and TCM based Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion (Chinese Medicine style Acupuncture practiced in Japan). Be soothed by the calm and spacious studio. Sit with a cup of specially brewed green tea as you begin your treatment with the exclusive Cleopatra foot bath followed by a lovely foot massage. Move onto the treatment bed where you will receive a back massage. Ancient oriental warming herbs are then applied, followed by a beautifully gentle acupuncture treatment.

1 1/2 hours Ultimate "Mash up" Treatment - $ 120

As you enter the calm and spacious Clinic, you will breath a sigh of relief and begin to gather your thoughts and forget your worries. Sit with a specially brewed cup of Japanese green tea while your feet soak in the exclusive Cleopatra foot bath. After you receive a divine foot massage you will move to the treatment table to enjoy an aromatherapy head, neck and shoulders massage. Ancient Oriental warming herbs are then applied to further loosen tight muscles. Gentle Meridian flow acupuncture completes this treatment to leave you feeling balanced and relaxed for many days after this amazing treatment.
