Australian Museum

About

The Australian Museum, founded in 1827, is the nation's first museum and an internationally recognised natural science and culture institution. As custodian of more than 18 million objects, the museum provides a greater understanding of Australia and the Pacific through research, exhibitions and education programs. The Australian Museum Research Institute also plays a leading role in conserving biodiversity through understanding the impacts of climate change and biosecurity threats.
