Ormeggio at The Spit, located at D'Albora Marinas, offers Contemporary Italian cuisine in a spectacular waterside setting, overlooking Middle Harbour and Pearl Bay. It has Two Chef Hats in the Sydney Morning Herald's Good Food Guide 2015 and has been a hatted restaurant since opening in 2009.

Executive Chef Alessandro Pavoni, Head Chef Victor Moya and their talented team utilise both new and traditional techniques of cooking, along with the finest produce, to deliver the Ormeggio experience.

Sydney Morning Herald says "Moored next to the sparkling waters of The Spit Ormeggio is, appropriately enough, a restaurant that likes to make waves. Don't come here craving spag bol and tiramisu. Instead, owner/chef Alessandro Pavoni cleverly combines Italian tradition with his own hunger for new techniques and pushing boundaries."

Boats moor at the jetty to pick up their pre-ordered hampers, early morning walkers stop in at the kiosk for their daily cappuccino and as evening falls, restaurant diners enjoy the impressive view of sunset over Middle Harbour.

Ormeggio is the Italian word for 'mooring' or 'berth' which reflects the restaurants unique waterfront setting.
