The Bengal Curry House, a pioneer in Indian cuisine to Brisbane, first opened it?s doors at Woolloongabba in 1981, relocating in 1999 to the beautiful Wynnum foreshore. The owners Ruhul and Vanessa Amen have continued to serve consistantly delicious Indian cuisine in true family style and spirit. Recently their son, Sharif has taken the position of head chef and their daughter Mareena is leading the front of house staff in service excellence.
28 years of experience has produced our iconic and delicious cuisine whilst maintaining a fundamental respect for traditional methods and flavour. Our recipes are created in our kitchen with all our sauces and spice blends prepared in house. Your meal will be individually prepared to your liking using chicken breast fillet, the finest red meats, tiger prawns or fresh vegetables. We do not use any artificial flavouring, msg, meat tenderisers or wheat flour to thicken curries.
The Amen family and staff look forward to seeing you soon. (more)
