Not sure if your bicycle needs a service? A quick check of the following will help:

Wheels - Lift the bicycle and spin each wheel, if it looks bent or makes rubbing noises it needs attention!

Brakes - Loose or weak brakes usually indicates cable stretch or worn brake blocks

Bearings - Check for movement and rattling noises, particularly around the pedals area

Chain - Loose, Jumping out of gear, ...Rusty?

Safety Gear - Make sure you're seen by motorists with bright coloured clothing!
