Oz Camping Gear

About

We are a team passionate and experienced with living, working and camping throughout rural and remote central Australia. Oz Camping Gear's founder was raised on a rural enterprise, instigating a fascination for the outdoors and nature. Hence our philosophy of promoting conservation to create a more abundant outdoor recreation experience.

A career in conservation often involved camping to explore our natural environment and wildlife. We have extensive training and experience in four-wheel drive procedures and have operated tour ventures providing guests with camping encounters in astonishing locations within central Oz; aiming to educate, entertain and amaze.

We have formal training and experience in emergency management, mapping, information interpretation, first-aid, wildlife rescue and venomous snake capture. Working with Traditional Owner's allowed the privilege of learning bush survival skills and why it's important to look after the land. We have for over a decade provided advice on camping and surviving in the outback.

Our desire is to continually research the latest products and provide helpful information and advice on gaining the best camping experience and bush survival techniques. Joining our mailing list will not only update our customers of new products but also inform of our regular special offers.

An objective is to actively support important causes for our country such as farmers and conservationists who play an important role in supporting our natural integrity. Check us out on Facebook for further information.

We aim to make visiting Oz Camping Gear an immersive experience by not just offering practical quality camping equipment, but we want you to have an enjoyable and rewarding camping experience, to remain safe and help look after our amazingly unique landscapes and wildlife that is Australia!
