Trayon Campers

About

Trayon Campers are a proven camper platform for outback Australian and global expeditions, where camper trailers quickly become a safety hazard as you slice through the bull dust and sand dunes. More and more tracks are being closed to camper trailers and caravans. Don't get caught out in the middle of nowhere.

Travelling into the deep red centre of Australia means carrying your water and possibly your fuel. Being in the middle of no where, 1000kms from civilisation means minimising what can go wrong.

Increasing the weight you carry either via a trailer or via a load on the back of your ute increases your chance of breaking down, as it increases the strain on your vehicle. A slide on camper reduces the number of axles, wheels and suspension component that can break. They also don't have the added cost of registration of a trailer. However, they are not entirely problem free. If you overload your vehicles payload, exceeding your GVM, you put yourself not only at risk of breakdown and injury but also void your insurance.

This is where Trayon campers come in. They are purpose built for minimising the weight your vehicle carries, while maximising comfort, security and space. They are the lightest class II slide on camper in the world, made for serious explorers and also the weekend warrior. With over 24 years of manufacturing in Queensland Australia and now over 1000 campers circulating the globe, they are the most trusted, state-of-the-art slide on camper. Their customers have not only trusted a Trayon camper to travel deep into Australia but also on ambitious global expeditions through Africa, Canada, Europe and the Arctic circle.

The camper slides on to the back of a flat tray ute and takes less than 5 minutes to setup at your camp site and still use your vehicle for collecting firewood. The camper has a double bed, lounge, kitchen, inverter, solar power, optional heating, outhouse, portable toilet and much more.

Trayon campers are built to be lightweight, compact and to handle severe off-road conditions. With a 10 year structural warranty, a dedicated owners forum and comprehensive support, you know you are in good hand.
