Alpaca Hand Spun

All items are produced using natural coloured fibre from locally sourced Alpacas.

Alpaca colours can range from White, Fawn, Brown, Black and Grey.

Alpaca fibre can be considered organic, no chemicals are used to control pests on the property where our supplies originate.

All fibres have been handspun and lovingly created.

Alpaca clothing is very warm to wear. With that in mind we have developed a more open, rustic, character for our garments.

We are a small cottage operation made of local residents.

Firstly the Alpacas are shawn.

The Fleece is then cleaned & carded.

Felting would occur from this stage.

The wool is then spun.

From there the various knitted items are made.

Then washed.

As you can see this whole process is very labour intensive.
