School of Chinese Music & Arts

About

The School of Chinese Music & Arts was established in 2005 and began from the teaching of the Chinese Harp. It is known as the Gu-Zheng in Mandarin, and is one of the oldest instruments in Chinese history. It is commonly linked to the Gu-Qin, but is an authentic instrument itself.

We began with teaching the instrument at the South Australian Chinese Welfare Services. Today, we have expanded to include other musical classes for the Chinese Pi Pa (Lute), Chinese Violin (Er-hu); as well as Chinese Arts classes for Mandarin (Chinese) & Chinese calligraphy. Not only are they conducted at our studio premises, we have also begun to take them into schools & workshops!

Since 2007, we have also begun our sales of Chinese Instruments within Australia & New Zealand. We have been recognised for our friendly services & timely delivery with our instruments.

Last but not least, we also provide professional music entertainment for corporate & private functions, feel free to email and enquire/book!
