Changing Chairs

About

Welcome to Changing Chairs.

You may be thinking, 'Why the name?' It's quite simple - we refurbish chairs and furniture. We change them. Sometimes it's antique or retro pieces repainted and upholstered in vivid colours. This is done in house by our resident Director and Stylist, Corien Hyland whose passion and talent drive the business.

More often these days we source furniture from friends in Central Java Indonesia. Not just ordinary furniture mind you. We look for traditional designs and have them finished in bright colour combinations or retro colours. We then upholster in fabrics we source from around the world. These fabrics are also available in our store. So we can mix or match settings to suit your needs, to enhance your decor or change it to have a more vibrant future.

In addition to furniture we source, stock and sell a wide range of Homewares, Giftware, Jewellery and Books to compliment or add to your lifestyle.

If your interest is in art, our gallery walls featuring local or Gold Coast artists. We also carry a range of Art Prints to enhance your home.

To keep the motoring enthusiast in your household happy we are developing an Automobilia section including art, books, models and signs. In this section there's also a quiet room to sit and read a magazine while others are browsing.

Check out our Product Gallery. We're sure you will find something you love. We welcome enquiries about our products, availability and shipping (if required) and hope you make Changing Chairs at beautiful Mt Tamborine a destination you visit often.
