Sadly many imported products do not meet these standards particularly with regard to product quality and environmental safety.

Some imported fibre boards used to manufacture desks and tables etc. contain dangerous levels of formaldehyde and off gassing adhesives as well as wood chips sourced from illegal harvesting.
