We are a service store. Shoe stretching, repairs to footwear and all leather goods. We stretch boot legs or slim them down. Bodkins Bootery started in 1969 and moved to High St in 1970.

This is in the historic part of Fremantle. The building was built in the late 1800's as the Head Qtrs for Pearce Bros, who were footwear manufactures in north Fremantle. Many of the original fittings are still in use and the old world charm is ever-present. People from all-round complement us on our range and ambiance. Many take photos. Tour guide bring in clients for the experience of history and real leather smells. This is known as an icon of Fremantle and possibly one of the oldest shoe stores in Australia.
