Eva Q Design, founded in 2009, is a Melbourne label by award winning RMIT graduate Eva Q Huynh.

I create unique pieces that are feminine and elegant, specialising in evening and bridal couture gowns, formal dresses, cocktail dresses and racewear.

All Eva Q garments are designed and hand made in a design studio based in Melbourne.

I pride myself on using the highest quality materials and on the attention to detail I put into every dress. Whatever the occasion, I will have the perfect dress for your special event or alternatively we can design and create something perfect for you together.

After Eva Q graduated from university in the midst of the Global Financial Crisis, she decided to take her future into her own hands. Eva Q created a small avant garde collection that saw her win the Student Designer category in the 2009 NRA Australian Fashion Design Awards.

The award included a scholarship to France at the prestigious Paris American Academy where Eva Q studied fashion and learnt formal couture techniques. The opportunity meant that Eva Q had the privilege to work with some of the most influential and leading people in the fashion industry, including representatives from high end labels such as Dior, YSL and Ellie Saab.

After winning the award and returning back to Melbourne from her European couture training, Eva Q received an overwhelming response from writers and journalists requesting to interview her and photograph her designs for inclusion in their publications. With each interview came further opportunities that opened up new doors for Eva Q and what has been an exciting launch for her label.
